Reindeer Trail Experience

Step into the Arctic wilderness and experience reindeer up close in their natural habitat.

Join us for a truly authentic encounter with Norway’s reindeer as we take you up to the herd by snowmobile during feeding. These reindeer roam freely in the Arctic wilderness, allowing you to witness them in their natural habitat.

Here, you get to take part in the daily life of those who care for the reindeer. This will be a day filled with knowledge and insight into ancient Sámi traditions.

Your journey begins in Tana Bru, where we load hay sleds before heading into the mountains. Once we reach the herd, you'll participate in the feeding, getting up close to these majestic animals as they move around you.

We’ll take a break among the reindeer, enjoying warm drinks and snacks while soaking in the tranquility of the Arctic landscape.

  • The journey to and from the mountain takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the herd’s location and weather conditions.
