Beer tasting with Qvænbrygg
Join us for a unique beer tasting experience at our local microbrewery.
Qvænbrygg is a local brewery in Vadsø, just 15 kilometers away. Its name honors the Kven people of northern Norway. In the late 1800s, around 60% of Vadsø's population were Kven, earning the town the nickname "Kven Capital."
Today, the brewery operates from the old town slaughterhouse, producing a range of traditional beers. Qvænbrygg focuses on using local ingredients, giving each brew a taste of Vadsø and Varanger.
During the tasting, you'll hear their story, sample different beers, and learn more about the craft of brewing.
They also offer tasting menus featuring local cuisine, with ingredients that vary by season. For example, summer brings king crab and other seafood from the Varangerfjord, while winter offers delicacies such as reindeer.
There is no minimum number of participants; we can easily create an experience for anywhere from 2 to 10 people.
Prices will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
Each tasting lasts approximately one and a half hours.
Available all year.
